SPIRIT : Stallion of the Cimarron

DreamWorks Pictures' new animated adventure "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" had a star-studded premiere in Hollywood where many celebrities attended with their children to this family film. The screening was followed by a block party featuring a live concert by Grammy winner Bryan Adams, who co-wrote and performs the songs in the film.

DreamWorks Pictures' new animated adventure "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" had a star-studded premiere in Hollywood where many celebrities attended with their children to this family film. The screening was followed by a block party featuring a live concert by Grammy winner Bryan Adams, who co-wrote and performs the songs in the film. Bryan Adams brought the house down performing 4 songs in a rousing 25 minute performance on a street behind the Cinerama Dome for 1,500 VIP guests including Cindy Crawford, Harry Hamlin & Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jane Seymour, Blair Underwood, Reese Witherspoon & Ryan Phillippe, Val Kilmer, and Dakota Fanning.

"Sprit" is an epic of colorful proportions, a beautiful tale of love, friendship, courage, hope and faith. one of the best animated features ever made. The story is about a spirited stallion on the American frontier where he encounters men for the first time. He befriends a young Native American but defies being broken by him or the army who tries to capture him. The courageous young stallion also finds love with a beautiful paint mare named Rain on his way to becoming one of the greatest unsung heroes of the Old West. It is rare to see Native Americans portrayed as good guys, and the American Army the bad guys.

The animals don't talk in this film including 'Spirit', instead, Matt Damon performs narration as 'Spirit' throughout the film. The first song by Bryan Adams is the introduction to the world of Spirit, his childhood and his surroundings. The film is presented in 2D and 3D with hand painted rocky mountains in the background and moving characters.

Dreamworks has created another winner the whole family will love.

Bryan Adams' Wild Ride - In a 24 hour time period, Bryan Adams & Jeffrey Katzenberg celebrate the premiere of DreamWorks Pictures' "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" with two special events 6,000 miles apart. Starting in France with a special performance by Bryan Adams and Hans Zimmer accompanying live a selection of songs from the movie on May 18th and a premiere of the movie at the Cannes Film Festival. In Hollywood, DreamWorks closed the streets for a block party following the premiere. Bryan Adams brought the house down performing 4 songs in a rousing 25 minute performance on a street behind the Cinerama Dome for 1,500 VIP guests including Cindy Crawford, Harry Hamlin & Jennifer Love Hewitt.
